In Memory On Mother's Day

by Shelley Williams   May 11, 2015

Mother's Day is missing
the best one I have known,
You see she is an angel
with wings now, of her own.

There was not a chance
to say how much I care,
Whispers of the heart
is a feeling she is there.

She left us in a hurry
when it was time to fly,
Heaven called her home
without saying goodbye.

I hope to see her glow
in the heavens up above,
When it is my turn to go
may I be met with her love.

The day will be in memory
of her warm loving smile,
The nurture of a mother
that once took times of trial.

Flowers on her headstone
and thoughts of her today,
Her memories are cherished
inside where precious stay.
