Walking In The Rain

by Matt Coates   May 26, 2015

Walking in the rain,
There is no feeling quite like it.
A balance between appreciation
And annoyance.

As I feel my clothes being soaked
By this pouring down rain,
I feel each drip,
Sliding down my face.

It has been awhile since we've met
I've missed this feeling.
There's no feeling quite like,
walking in the rain.

How i've missed you dear friend,
You ease my perplexed mind.
How i've missed this feeling,
Of being free from pain.

My clothes are drenched,
As the rain pours down my face,
There is no greater feeling,
Than this overlooked place.

How i've missed you
Oh dear friend.
There's no feeling quite like it;
Walking in the rain.
