Liquor and life

by Samuel Ernst   Jun 12, 2015

In the passing moments,
With every swig,
life becomes abundantly clear,
In the remaining Everclear,
We concede to dark notions,
Liquor is like life,
Bad choices made conspiring against better judgement,
But honestly we commit and excuse dark acts,
I guess the difference between drunkenness and sobriety,
Is the difference between lies and honesty,
So take a shot,
Know your truth,
All of life's design is to enjoy what's bad.
Such is existence.
