A World of Lies

by Dragon Boy   Jul 6, 2015

We exist in a self-seeking earth,
Each person heeds their nature
Exhaust each other's blood just to satisfy their desires
No soul has a point in time for anybody
Nations are too engaged,
Demanding to whip the soul's extra moment

We survive in a world of slaughterers
Nobody can have enough of flesh
They slay each new spirit,
To gratify their needs
They fancy flesh, nothing else

We breathe within a globe of abhorrence
Children lack affection for living things
Families hate each other's cheerfulness
Greed one another pride

We reside in a world of animals
Both big with small,
Strong also weak,
Dominant acquire the finest
Frail obtain the shoddier

We subsist in human abnormality
All and sundry is atypical,
Not a soul knows reality,
Except nobody knows that

We live on earth
Everyone is challenged to endure
Despite how hard people struggle
They forever seem to impair others.

Another fab piece. Plenty food for thought.
