Deathly Games

My thoughts leave my mind,
too far to retrieve and so behind;
I lay still, awake all night,
in the darkest, and no light;
My soul trapped in my body,
and my body all wounded,
struggling just to be alive.
I'm too bad to be loved again,
too weak to be broken again,
with all the deathly games,
that we played through -
This pain still rips me apart,
when I realized, disguised
were you, with your smile,
reaching up to your eyes.
Should have I known this then,
I would have won the game!
But now that you have decided,
and pulled the trigger upto my chest,
I lay still, awake all night,
in the darkest, and no light;
