Fleeting Years

by Jenn   Sep 20, 2015

I can not remember..
The last time I did not feel broken...
I can not imagine..
The last real smile to dance upon my face...
Single truth, painful as it seems..
We are utterly alone, from the precious beginning.. To the inevitable end...
The people that surround you, are merely passer's, their own path that they will follow.. may cross yours but they will never forever intertwine...
Every dwindling moment of love, silently breaks your once strong conviction.. Leaving permanent infliction...
Memories of them, the desire that once burnt true, now smolders and seers your tortured heart..
Life is loneliness. Life is pain...
But in these shattering brief moments.
You will discover Love, You will harbor Joy..
You will conquer Your Fears, You will Live Your fleeting years..

A beautiful poem, and for sure the happiest of all years are those where love was walking amongst you.
