Epitaphs And Elegies

by MARVIN PRIZE   Oct 11, 2015

With mixed feelings my heart is loaded,
Half joy half sorrow for the way they headed.
Scattered across the broad face of earth,
Some, six feet under, transferred by death.
If there is life beneath these stones,
I hope, hope will take its course_ in these dry bones.
Sorely missed friends and sweet children_
and dearly missed mothers,
Fathers, companions and many others.
Elegies and epitaphs please help us,
express the feeling...
