Love

How many times can a heart be broken?
Haunted by the words unspoken?
Heed these rhymes love's awoken.
Little crimes and empty tokens.
Selling yourself is your slogan.
We always let the stains soak in.

How many times can one heart break?
How many lies can one man take?
How many feelings can I fake.

Fear alone can break your heart.
Wish we knew this from the start.
Now all the pieces they fall apart.
Together forever, never to part.

How many times can one heart break?
How many lies can one man take?
How many feelings can I fake?

Break free of
the snake that creeps.
Doesn't it ache?
For insanity's sake?
Think I'm finally awake,
there is too much at stake.
Why am I the one you forsake?
I'm sorry I made a mistake.
But were only human.

Fear alone can break your heart.
Wish we knew this from the start.
See the seems from where we fall apart.
Together forever, till death do us part.
But only in darkness. Never at heart.
