Paradise

Imagine a special place. Your own paradise.
Somewhere so beautiful. Surroundings so nice.
The sun shining down, the sky a bright blue.
A place so relaxing, contentment's found You.
The flowers are blooming, grass and trees green.
A waterfall flowing into a clear stream.
Birds in the hedgerow, singing their song.
You know in your heart, this is where You belong.

Maybe your paradise is sat on a beach.
Watching the sunset, so far out of reach.
Reflecting light twinkling, upon the sea.
Where the waves live, ferocious and free.
Water swishing on sand, is the only sound.
maybe this is where your perfection's found.

I find every beauty when I am with You.
Everything perfect comes shining through.
I don't have to imagine, my paradise is here.
Home or away, it's wherever You're near.

What a lovely poem with a really fluent rhyme scheme - which I love to see. This poem proves that good rhyming poetry is still the most charming sort!
    All the very best,
