What I Believe

The main thing in life in which I believe,
Is what you dish out, is what you'll receive.

Love and respect is the best way to go,
in return that's what others will show.
Treat people well, that's how you'll be treated,
If you do not, you'll end up defeated.

Be honest and faithful, you'll then earn trust,
for lifetime relationships, that's a must.
Do the right thing, be the best you can be,
life is much better when it's deceit free.

If you're given the chance, do a good deed,
do more for others, don't live life in greed.
Always be friendly, don't say hurtful things,
you never can tell what sorrow it brings.

Some situations, you're not in control,
but always remember your lifetime goal.
Don't stoop to their level, just walk away,
In the future it will be them that pay.

The main thing in life in which I believe,
is what you dish out, is what you'll receive.

    Dear Donna,
Your poem is a mirror reflecting my very thoughts.

I so agree that if i follow this path i am left, less stressed and more peaceful at heart.

    Thank you.
