The Permanent

Every speck of hope
that escapes
an open cut;
is retrieved
with a tender breeze.

But where,
does one go
with the burden.

    Powerful poem indeed, that burden we try to figure out how to live with. How to give it up, how to let others in and help carry it.

    Take care.

    Physical wounds will heal, but the emotional scars may last a life time.

    So many are traumatised for life by war and/or parental abuse and the burden they carry often goes unnoticed and can lead to disaster of all kinds.

    We need love, Nana, that is it: love that heals those wounds before they turn the heart bitter.

    Love you,

    Ingrid xx
