My Garden Of Thoughts on Love...#1

by Koan   Oct 22, 2015

Let it flow

Today the luminous veil of Helplessness

touched upon my deeply loving heart

and I have tasted

the spring rays of Blind Understanding.

Within this tranquil bliss

Creation's holy hand engraved a quote

into my heart from a sacred manuscript:

" words of mortal love verses can only follow
near behind the lips of the Beloved,
but never be able to reach to reflect the breath of True Love!
That Gift is inexpressible, it is only to be experienced"

And as I felt this enlightenment

a blush of yearning dash through

my every living cell and

I heard the whispers of my budding soul:

oh dear poet,
do not wipe your heart's tears away!
Let the Nectars of Joy flow,
for you have already stared to
understanding it...

Today the luminous veil of Helplessness

touched upon my deeply loving heart

^^I was wondering why you made the word
Helplessness to stand out; because when love touches us we are at its mercy, we can't help but been in love. When love hits at the core of our heart and embraces us we simply surrender ourselves into its arms!

    and I have tasted

the spring rays of Blind Understanding.

^^Here again Blind Understanding is been capitalized, so right one is blinded by love and that is where the saying comes in "love is blind!" But there is something even more in this-we realize and understand this love, we are ready to do for it anything even if love says "go jump off a cliff" haha well understanding is the key point in a relationship.

All in all this poem is a pouring of emotions, the joy of been loved and not picked upon or put us off with negative feelings. The ending just leaves the reader as well as the writer with a sigh...well penned!

Because it is a state of being close to the One!!!

      "Blind Understanding"

Have you ever felt God? Not before blind understanding... ~smiles~

The imagery in this piece is great. he way in which you write shows that every word came from the depth of your heart. I love this piece. Thank you very much for the advice on my rhyming. I will certainly pay more attention to that. Take care. Thanks for the comment.

    Hello Koan,

    another poem about/or love...

Title: The garden of thoughts on love
    ^
A good title and imagery from the start. A mind thinking of love...

    Let it flow
    ^
Like advice, let these thoughts of love flow and develop...

Being touched by a love so powerful leaving you blind and helpless in its intensity. Very good!!

    Within this tranquil bliss

Creation's holy hand engraved a quote

into my heart from a sacred manuscript:
    ^
The affect of this love from above, a divine love remains on, around and in the heart forever. Tattooed one might say....

" words of mortal love verses can only follow
near behind the lips of the Beloved,
but never be able to reach to reflect the breath of True Love!
That Gift is inexpressible, it is only to be experienced"
    ^
This is so true. There are many forms and levels of love. Love for mankind, love for nature, love for art, love for family and love of God. So many, but all have their levels. Here in this manuscript a dedication to the highest form, thje breath of true love.

And as I felt this enlightenment

a blush of yearning dash through

    my every living cell and

I heard the whispers of my budding soul:
    ^
' the blush of yearning dash is superbly creative. An running towards a love wanted so ardently.

    oh dear poet,
do not wipe your heart's tears away!
Let the Nectars of Joy flow,
for you have already stared to
    understanding it...
    ^
to lose love is the first step of knowing love and that will lead to more steps onto and upwards to higher love. Turning the pain into a lesson helps in the realisation what love is and can be again, well at least a taste of a brighter tomorrow.
Did you mean to type 'stared' or is that typo of 'started'?

    Excellent in any case.

    Well done on this.

    Take care,

    Michael

    My dear friend
This is such a beautiful piece. It grabbed this readers heart and squeezed. Left a lump in my throat. Tears in my eyes.

"words of mortal love verses can only follow
near behind the lips of the Beloved,
but never be able to reach to reflect the breath of True Love!
That Gift is inexpressible, it is only to be experienced"

As you know I lost my true love...so my heart feels your words. How right you are . The gift of true love is inexpressible. Like when a baby is born and laid in it's mothers arms for the first time her heart fills with a love that comes from no where. A forever love, a unconditional love. The same feelings that fill your heart when you find that one person that is meant just for you.

    oh dear poet,
do not wipe your heart's tears away!
Let the Nectars of Joy flow,
for you have already stared to
    understanding it...

This piece is so good your last stanza wraps it up perfectly.

    ,~clapping~
    Take care Cindy
