Don't Come Back

You don't get to come back
After years of silent screams
You don't get to show up
After years of pointless dreams

I see you for what you really are
Just a black mass of empty space
Sucking all the hope from the room
Until it's just another empty place

Your intentions made clear
The second you turned away
My expectations shattered
The day you chose not to stay

And to think I let you touch me
All that time and effort wasted on you
Makes me sick to my stomach
For all the things we never got to do
