To Whom Love May Concern

by Michael D Nalley   Feb 11, 2016

Can a mind think too much?

A heart beats to survive

A spirit breaths to touch

A body is alive
once a child has been born
yet we're alive before
the tie that binds is torn

Can a mind think too much?

To Whom has Love been sworn?

I am pretty sure that a mind can think to much to the point we start over thinking. There are so many questions. Hopefully one day we find the answer. This piece made me think. Lovely written

Lots of questions that are at times impossible to and tricky to answer to be honest are literally the simple questions.

I loved the imagery in this poem, it simple, and yet it is powerful in its own way. I love how it went from lines to an actual stanza and in that stanza it goes back to being lines; it all ties together and my favorite part in the poem probably is the third line in the poem because I never really thought that a spirit would try to touch something if anything, it's very interesting how you wrote it.

Love everything about this poem, it's simple, it's inspirational, and it's lovely to read. 5/5

A great little pondering poem here, Michael, that rhymes beautifully and had me confused....until the second read!

    All the very best,
