What beautiful imagery to show not worrying or stressing or even having fear. This is the second poem today I've read similar to this and it makes me wonder if my countenance isn't so great today. ;)

What was the other poem, Britt? You know how everyone sort of has their own moment? Or how there are these instances in life that happen and there's something about them and you feel so strongly that you need to remember this, specifically, forever. This was one of those moments, with my grandmother. Words of wisdom, but if I asked her about it she probably wouldn't remember saying it.

This is absolutely beautiful! I can just picture this and I love that you share that this moment in your life was with you grandmother. Wow.

It was one of Mel's poems, Birthed I think it was or something like that.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean by that - moments that will forever be ingrained in your heart that was probably just a passing comment by someone. I love those!

Narph, like, I can only vote three times a week, so stop posting TOO MANY POEMS IN ONE WEEK. That's my way of saying I really love your poetry.

I second what Noura said. Don't post these too quickly so we can have a chance to nominate them all lol.

Although this was short it was very captivating just like the image you are trying to paint. Some memories can leave an imprint on your mind and heart forever
