My Bride Will Look so Beautiful

by Andrew Packard   Feb 22, 2016

"My Bride will look so beautiful"

My Bride will look so beautiful
By the oceans' side
With waves of emotion
Swelling up with the tide

A fairytale so magical
That 16th of July
The peak of elation
Streaming tears to be dried

Lifting up each other
with vows to be true
Written destiny to confer
the past what the future already knew

No one will forget
What memories can be
like a barefoot imprint
at their marriage by the sea

    Andrew,

A nice beat and rhythm in this piece which keeps it flowing smoothly.

My favourite lines are - 'the past what the future already knew' because here although you both know or should know each others past you are willing to make them your future on this you wedding day

And 'what memories can be like a barefoot imprint' because in a sense you are going into this with all eyes open and a matter of blindness because although you live each other who knows what'll happen?

    Take care, Em

    Hello Andrew.

A lovely little rhyming piece here which has a strong sense of imagery about it.

"With waves of emotion swelling up with the tide"

    I love that line.

Great write. All the very best,
    Ben
