ONCE

by ghosts in bloom   Mar 9, 2016

,

we slept in the dusty corners of ourselves
draped with honey-thick intention
drawing crooked lines with shaking limbs
across pixelated shorelines

once,

we buried moments in the soil of our skins
wishing instead to know each other's
while distance pursed its lips
and spoke of days to come

once,

we sat inside a swell
and watched ourselves
drown

Blah! I hate when I can't find the right words and leave a decent comment on stuff. You always do this to me!

Also, thank you for coming back and posting a few. Always a pleasure :)
