There's a time

by AngelaLuisaCory   Mar 18, 2016

There's a time for moving forward
And leaving pain behind,
There's a time for clouds to gather
And for winter sun to shine

If you cannot leave the yearning
For what may, or may not have been,
Forever cloaked in darkness
And never more to dream

    Hello Mother!

Oh, I have waited many a year to critique my own mum....

To be honest, I don't really have much advice to offer this lovely little poem.
All I might suggest is this:

"for what may or may not be"

You keep the rhyme with "dream" but drop a syllable and I think that might flow a little better - up to you.

I dare not give this anything but 5!

    Love Ben

Edit - it wouldn't make as much sense, then, granted.....
