Comments : The cemetary

    Hello Benda,

there is a quality that is edged with 'VIP status' each time I walk around a cemetery. I actually feel honoured to place my feet near those that know what happens after this. This life where the naïve can only mock or be lost for words. Why do they, are they? Are they jealous for the now transcended folk? Do they secretly wish they were free of this life too? For me, I talk to them, in my mind I wish them well, I know that one day I too will be with them...

    Well done Brenda,

This is thought provoking and well written. A true privilege to have such neighbours.

    Take care,

    Michael

Thanks Michael- I too find great peace in a cemetary. I like to read the headstones and imagine what that person was like. I find I'm far from alone while I'm there. Brenda

    Hello Brenda.

You sum up a cemetery's atmosphere and the different views and emotions that are roused in people by them perfectly here.
I, too, find them peaceful places to be; I'm not a big believer in ghosts, so that doesn't ever enter my thinking when walking among the gravestones.

All the best and great write,
    Ben

    Brenda,

This is a wonderful yet kind of sad write.

    The imagery is good.
