A Moment of Inspiration

A spark of thought
in the midst of night,
drip with ideas
silently.

Funnel of words
creating an image,
excitement pursues to
delve into its depths.

Inspiration pulsates
charms the pen,
verses sculpt before it
disappears.

Colorful emotions
take flight,
perched upon blue lines
never to erase.

    You described the state very well, Meena. the silence of the night prepares the mind to write fluently and comfortably, away from the burdens of the day. This is really beautiful, neat verse.
