Beauty

by Piper Lefebvre   Apr 8, 2016

You call me beautiful.
I think I'm not.
How you describe me I think is not suitable.
Even though I know you love me a lot,

I feel as though when you call me pretty it's all a lie.
I see myself in the mirror and see nothing pretty.
I always wear I wear makeup that I won't deny
But what you is beauty,

All my makeup doesn't make a difference
You always compliment my looks
To you I am of significance
I usually hide my face in books

But with you it's different
I can look at you and no fear
You won't look at me with disappointment
Cause when you compare me to a flower you say I am lovelier
