    Hello Em

This reminds me of something but I can't think where I heard it. When things are bad, or when something is going horribly wrong, shut your eyes and count to five. In those five seconds, let the fear and all that's bad have its way and wash over you, then after the time is up, open your eyes and shut it out completely and then get on with whatever you have to do.
The fear is there, so rather than let it consume you for a lengthy time, acknowledge it in all its force but only for five seconds and then be done with it. If you can do that, these moments will make you who you are - a stronger person.

Not sure what led me to that train of thought but thank you for making me think.

    take care and well done,
    Ben

YES!! This is what I'm Talking ABOUT!! ^_^ I really really like the concept of like taking a step back during rough times to take a good look at the bigger picture because, you're absolutely right - these moments (ESPECIALLY the tough ones you mention in this poem) ARE what make us - when we discover our true grit, and what we're truly made of. These moments change us and how we react to them effect who we're going to be and what is next to come and I just love how you captured that ^_^ Neat!

Without rough times, we would never appreciate the good times, a very true verse here.

    Hmm...

Compare my conclusion (or rather, lack of one?)

Not accusing your of copying. Just saying I asked some of the same questions in verse form. :)

I still lack an answer, though.
