Our Love

She walked on water and was able to part the sea
Making a way to her life for me
Once across the water there came a big flood
It was just my heart pouring out all of its love

I followed her passions walked in her shoes
I was madly in love and not a thing I could do
Her smile was one that lit up my world
My life became void of any other girl

Her early life wasn't always easy and at times it could be tough
But to me she was just a diamond in the rough
I watched as she polished herself 'til she got it just right
So I asked her to stay with me for the rest of my life

The future was unknown and nothing was for sure
I knew our love was true and knew it would endure
Jealousy seemed to be draped all over people's face
No matter our situation, no matter where the place

We share our love open and honest
We've made our vows and now live our promise
