Help!

Help!

I feel really low and wilted, I can't feel my limbs, they hang helpless by my side, my appearance I cannot hide.

Once I felt like a Bride, my beauty would make an Artist step aside, one look at me would leave them starry eyed.

Then my special one came, poured the water of life upon me, I feel a rush in my veins my limbs are lifted up as caressing the gentle rain, oh the joy of being reborn, to live another day.

My beauty has been restored, I bring smiles and by many, adored. I live in your garden, and for your temporary neglect, I do pardon.

*I had looked at the pretty little plant in our garden,
in one afternoon it wilted in the strong spring Sun,
it looked gone but I watered it much and the next morning it burst forth again with its beauty.

Dedicated to all plant lovers.

Although I'm allergic to plants; I can admit, this was spot on! Your creativity, still matchless.. Thanks for sharing this, once again!

    Ken,

I believe it is Nature Day the world over and so this is a fitting tribute indeed. Your usual rhymes and that little lesson as well - never give up and if you persist, you will be rewarded.
Lovely to read your work again Ken - it's a breath of fresh air.

    All the best
    Ben

Dear Ken, I have missed your inspiration. I love plants inside or out. I once had a garden and I spent so much time planting, feeding and yes talking to them. Every morning first thing I would check if they made any progress. If some did not make it I was sad. Thank you for this write. Be blessed.
