My tale

by Em   Apr 30, 2016

Once upon a lifetime
I'd be that depressed, little girl
that wanted nothing more
than to leave the world.

I could cry for hours, every night
over things people did or said.
I became a shadow of myself;
demonic thoughts swirling in my head.

Then something in me snapped,
that despondent, little girl had gone
and today stands a determined woman
to tell a tale of when demons haven't won.

    Hello Em, I see great strenght and the willpower to overcome these demons and you won. We have so much strenght within but often don't know. I can tell by reading the enormous determination. Thank you for sharing. Take care

    Nice to live to tell tale. And it's worth fighting than living for nothing. Very nice piece indeed.
