Back to your piece ...This so captivating I can't take my eyes of it till the end. .. I can imagine how eager you are to catch one.

for empty mayonnaise jars
Hurriedly poking holes
with the ice pick into each lid
Like banshees, screaming
we file out into twilight
Dad's fishing net swooping through the air
grasping at flickering light.

For a few moments,
stars have fallen to earth
So we gather as many as possible,
Lining our dressers with nature's nightlight.

Misinterpreting their Morse code
for an evening of fun.
