I'm not sure if you do it purposefully or not but the structure of the piece is like waves and I think it's great you did this even if you weren't meant to because it ties in with the lady going to the sea at the end.
I like writers that push the boundaries and explore new areas. This poem tells a sad story in a way that visually enhances it, to my mind anyway.
Rape is hard enough to write about, but you've managed to describe it in such a way that the reader feels her physical and emotional pain. The suicidal ending is just like the slide down to a dark abyss.
AB... This is a wonderful write. As Mr. Darcy points out... Rape is a heavy topic to write about and I loved how the story was told... It's not conversational nor narrative more of highlighted the devastating effects of what was done. A great write here.
