My First Love.

by Linda Leavers   May 17, 2016

The first night I slept without you
I wept
into your shirt you wore on Sunday night.

I'm pathetic.
I packed it on purpose.

I wept
on my cousin's couch
and
by hyperventilating into the scent of you
I could momentarily

breathe.

Linda, this is really powerful and meaningful. I feel it is personal aswell and many people can relate to it. When you love/lust someone even their scent is beautiful and I don't mean their aftershave/perfume I mean their smell.

by hyperventilating into the scent of you
    I could momentarily

    breathe.
    ^^
Loved this part because just in that moment of smelling his/her scent you could breathe.

    Beautiful, Em
