A Fairy Tale

by Mortal Utopia   May 30, 2016

Have you ever hoped
The dead could come back to life?
Have you ever hoped
A moment will last forever,
When taking a photograph?

Once upon a time,
Time stopped for a moment.
Yet, perhaps, never upon time,
Can time go backwards.

I once had a dream -
It was a good dream:
In that dream, we met again,
We forgave each other,
We laughed, we became
Friends once more - warming
One another's hearts.

Once upon a time,
Time stopped for a moment.
And in that moment
We wrote the end of our story:
Saying we lived happily ever after.

    Hello,

If only fairytales were real life, instead of soap operas where tragedy occurs. What if we could turn back time and grab that script and rewrite the ending that should have been, the ending that our hearts would have yearned for...

    a happy ever after.

    Nicely penned.

    All the best.

    Michael
