Abba Father

Long before I was even born
Your answers were formed.
Written so I could later read
When the time I would need.

Ere David to son, Solomon
The jewel mostly diamond.
More precious to me gold
So I would know to hold.

Even when I was not ready
A vision to keep me steady.
My mind forms the concept
But you formed the precept.

Created not only for just me
But all the willing to be free.
Great Spirit of time and place
We give thanks face to face.

A pebble bounces once again.
Will you catch in your hand?
Or will it slip from your take
Skipping across mirrored lake.

    Hello,

    I hope you're well.

This is a wonderfully written poem. The form of rhymed stanzas, a,a,b,b which flows effortlessly of the page is a pleasure to read. The poem seems to be of a personal nature, but the imagery is superb and though steeped in mystery for me, I found it to be honest and beautiful.

    Well done and take care,

    Michael
