YES! This is my existence in a nutshell; reminds me of the poem I wrote called "The Reason Why I'll Never Love You", except you did it much more concisely and eloquently. A perfect summation of society, where they base attraction on momentary interactions and visual stimulation, wanting someone to show off instead of someone they can help heal because they're so broken inside. Then when they discover the brokenness, they're like a child with a broken toy, they just find a new toy to play with.

At any rate, this really spoke to me. I love it.

Yakari, I always love when I see a piece posted by you as they are so unique, original and full of emotion.
Your writes never seem to amaze me because they are always so enthralling and beautifully done.

This is so me full of rage, disappointment etc and people looking on because we have breasts!!

    Yakari.
I love this piece.it speaks to everyone who reads it in a different way! Just looking at the comments you can see two very different reactions to it, yet it related to both of them..its a very unique piece which i had to read twice!
To me its about a person telling another person straight up that they are broken. They may see good but on the inside its a different story. Its a nice way of putting everything on the table before deciding to pick it up..

I personally like it.. at the end where you are assùring them they dont want it, i feel as though its selling themselves short a little. This site (and the awesome poets) has taught me, we are worth it... people will accept us as we are. They wont want to change us, but grow with us. :)

Keep up the great work. Also a 10/5 and nominate :)
