Meena, such a beautiful and inspirational write. I think most women want their knight in shining armour, their tall dark and handsome man but in reality what we need is someone who treats us right, someone who knows us inside and out and you portrayed this well (goes for men too mind)

I've come past wanting and yearning
for a tall, dark and handsome man,
I've gone past dreaming and crying
for my heart to be filled with care
since the moment my stubborn eyes
opened to what I had in front
of me!

A very powerful opening, one which many women can relate too, wanting their tall dark handsome guy but then realising that those aren't what they expect but that what's in front of them is better than anything they could dream of.

I have a man who fills my heart
without having me to explain,
I have a real life hero who
makes me smile with just a hello;

I love this part because you have realised that what's in front of you (as I said earlier) is better than any man that you could ever dream of and it's good that you have come to that realisation because the knight in shining armour or tall, dark, handsome man in this case could be a toad in a mask lol

What more, what more do I need now
when I have heaven in my arms
who reads me like a book and knows
all my moods to quell my blizzards;

I love the imagery here of this man knowing you inside out, sitting down and reading you like a book and being able to detect your chance in moods and of course know everything about the moods in question; not often do we find men like this.

He's the man I always needed
he is all that I wanted-the
valiant knight who has conquered
this lady tempest!

I had to laugh at this because us women do have some moods don't we and to find a man who can conquer us as a woman are definitely keepers.
