O Exiled Sophia

by Kakera   Sep 7, 2016

O Exiled Sophia, was it cruelty
or the purest of any love
that drove you to stab
my heart with your dagger,
and change my fate?

In your wisdom, in your love,
did you want me to abandon
my own mortality and seek the power
that should only belong to the Gods,
to avenge you - to rage against the Heavens?

O Exiled Sophia, when will we meet again?
When will I change reality, and be able to
annihilate the Host of Heaven that exiled you,
and destroyed our entire world?

O Exiled Sophia - with your infinite wisdom,
did you know who the Angels came for
when they tore through space
and invaded Earth?

O Exiled Sophia, my greatest love,
was it you, or was it I, that they sought
to erase from memory itself?

I have so many questions,
yet none to answer them.

O Beloved Sophia,
My Everything, My Heart,
will my voice ever reach you
again?
