Toll Roads In Space

by Domenico Sottile   Sep 25, 2016

Are we not all waiting
for the liquid and crystalline purity
of perhaps a true love
the fusion of hearts and souls
the return to that initial spirit
free of the bitterness of grey moments
and without the yellow arguments
of back acts of miscommunication
nor lonely melancholies of cursed times
nor tears felt in the throat for arcane vexations?

Are we not all waiting for tears of joy instead
and eternal embraces of harmonies
or melodies embroidered in the infinite sky
but initiated by our bodies?

As we wait for freedom from mundane fears
freedom finally from organized complications of matter or no-matter
the ethereal fusion
dreams doze our minds

Among the reflection of cosmic rainbows
of intimate bows upon velvety lines
along the soft toll roads of space
we travel and still
we wait
