Drowsy Autumn guests (string syntuit)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

frantic hand waving
at a family picnic,
shooing wasps away

~ ~ ~

frantic hand waving,
causes wasps to retaliate
at rude behaviour

~ ~ ~

frantic hand waving,
combined with painful screaming,
wasp leaves calling card

~ # ~

frantic hand waving
as a group of humans leave
wasps to eat alone

Very funny! We are more bothered with flies in Australia to the point where swatting them off is 'officially' called the Ozzie Wave...most of us don't even know that we're waving our hands all day long outdoors in summer haha!!!

Great stuff, Michael. There still are a few around, aren't there?
As to the 'frantic hand waving' - people just don't seem to realise that, by screaming and shouting and running around, it only makes them angrier. Ignoring them usually does the trick.

    All the best,
