If We Could Only.

If we could only get rid of
protest..desperation..rebellion..war..
suicide..and hate

But
are we able to eliminate
social classes..nations..all sorts of labels..and
believe only in self initiative
give impulse to research
treasure every one's heart
forget superficialities
and let ourselves look deeply in the inside
to resolve our battles and modalities

Could we not concentrate on our deepest soul
letting all races..persuasions
find their own interior peace
the compassion worth a world of happiness
the finesse of the spirit
in its essence?

Only then perhaps
we could truly love
