Let the light of the Lord Devine,
shine upon this heart of mine.
Remove the blindfold from my eyes,
that I may see,
A glimpse of your Heaven that is awaiting me.

Lord, you're the only best friend that I've ever
known,
stay close to me, and never let me walk alone.
O Lamb of God who died for me,
so much like you I longed to be.

Touch me Lord, let your love flood my soul,
cleanse my heart and make me whole.
Take my hand and grant me this I pray,
Lord, please make me more like you each day.

    Anand,

    A lovely rhyming poem about faith and your longing to be a little more like Him. (a lofty ambition, surely, lol)
    I suppose if we live our lives the best way we can and keep doing right by those around us, we go a long way to achieving that end.
