Remembrance (acrostic)

by Em   Nov 10, 2016

Remember them
Each time you look up because
Memories are all some of us have
Even those fade and as
Much as we want them to stay, they don't
But we owe them silence at least.
Remember the day they signed up to the
Army to save us but
Never returned home to
Countries they tried hard to
Extricate.

I know this is rubbish so any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Em, it's not rubbish, it's written from the heart and that alone makes it beautiful and heartfelt. Well done-
