Lost in the crowd

by Magicfriend   Nov 16, 2016

Lost in the crowd you go down the street.
Sad but still proud you have nothing to greet.

Loneliness, sorrow will be friends on your way.
May be tomorrow your heart will remain.

Railway stations, airports, stops...
They are experience traveller wants.

Restaurants, hotels, museums and shops...
Photographs grow their size in your box.

Random companions, girls with the style...
They give emotions just for a while.

Searching for shadows, adventures at last...
Illusions make miracles living so fast!

Finally watching the light in the dew,
You wouldn't consider that this is for you.

Lost in the crowd you go down the street.
Lost but not found you will continue to fleet.

Very well done. I like the layout, the wonderful rhyme and the couplets that bookend the poem so well.

As for the message. It's easy to become lost and lonesome in a world full of crowds and easily captured memories.

    Well done,
