Seasonal love

by Lyssi Lori   Nov 22, 2016

It was a season to remember, summer was a bliss,
Promises of adventures, sealed with a kiss.
It felt safe in your arms, falling for your awkward charm...
The nights were long but never lonely.
Prayin' to be your one and only.
Seasons changed, so did you. Knew we wouldn't see this through.
Trying to change, but not for the good,
Why I try to please you... no one understood.
Still grasping for the nothingness left behind,
Looking for something we don't know where to find.
Unspoken words. Broken promises. Heavy hearts.
Coming to terms, loving you was tearing me apart.
