    Naomi,

This is lovely. No messing around, just cutting straight to the point in three lines that set a perfect scene. However, in the midst of an English winter, I am loathed to like it too much... :)

    Take care and stay well,

Wow! Thankyou Benny.. really ! And until you have an auzzie xmas you havent lived! A nice warm day. Wake up to presents followed by a bbq lunch.. lots of fresh salads and seafoods.. fresh prawns and oysters!
Then an arvo of full tummys at the beach relaxing as the nieces and nefews and cousins play in the water and sand.. then leftovers for dinner (if it can fit!) Haha few local beers and wines :) perfection!
      You have to try it!

Sorry for rambling. :) thank you for the nomination!

Is this what you mean by Auzzie?

Interesting term, to say the least.

Nice content though, I am a big fan of the haiku form.

    Hello Naomi,

Waking up to a cold dark drissly day I needed a tonic. Thank you, this poem hit the spot nicely.

    Take care,

Sounds like something I would enjoy. Not so much fan of barbecued though but the company and the warmt of summer, I would very much.

I do believe it is "Aussie", not "Auzzie". That's what I was trying to get at with my last comment, but I was apparently too vague.
