The Place Where Nature Feels Alive

by Everlasting   Dec 10, 2016

At the heart of the mountains, a river fresh, tranquil, and calm,
just as placid, serene, and blue skies - where a tint of lament
and remorse in the air, are but daintily stressed on cold palms-
it is there, where fireflies intertwine to illuminate tents
while old pines disappear inch by inch with a song from a psalm
to announce the entrance of our holy and glorious night.

At the heart of the mountains, a bonfire brings souls back to life
while a gaze to the stars instantly baptize spirits with bliss;
We feel nature alive, we feel peace in our minds, and at times
we are even greeted by the rain with a lavender kiss.
It is here, in this place, that to live is not felt like a crime.
It is here, if I could, where I'd spend my every day and night.

      By all means, give it a try. It's a pattern that I came up with. (Or at least I haven't seen it before)

      Thank you.
