Santa says, "Darn it..."

by Mr. Darcy   Dec 16, 2016

Climbing down a chimney
His bulging sack got caught
Ripping on a rusted nail,
It stuck out further than he thought.
Screams were heard by elves back in
The Northest pole,
Mending kits transported to
Attend to Santa's hole, and...
Saving Christmas presents, for every living soul.

I'm torn between interpreting this as a humorous write, or a distressing write. I really enjoyed both perspectives, but I think I might be just a partial to the humorous perspective, with santa's bulging sack lol. Great write!

    Michael

Don't for a minute expect any of us to believe that you weren't smirking as you penned this acrostic, lol

A 'bulging sack' ripping on a 'rusted nail' - come on, my man, you must be joking! :)

Very humorous...I won't for a minute entertain any notion of tragedy about this write!

Thank you, ladies. When I saw all these 'Christmas ' acrostic forms being posted I felt left out. I'm glad you enjoyed my 'tongue in cheek' version. Lol
