Irons in the Fire

by Theoretical Thespian   Jan 10, 2017

I'm a busy blacksmith
With my irons in the fire
Must keep perfect balance
So things don't go dire

Welding metal and things
It's how I earn my bread
Wearing golden rings
Forged in the fires red

Shaping a steel sword
With a cutting edge
For the noble lord
The blade's not for hedge.

An art like spinning web
That is my craft
And if you think it's easy
You're just being daft!
