Sadness, depression /
I have this thing about me
where I have to count to 6
before I do something that
I'm not particularly comfortable with.
Maybe its because you
always used the number 6
like you had an obsession with it...
6 more punches Emma and we are done
6 more cigarette burns Emma
6 more minutes Emma and you can come out......
I wasn't even a child but
you treated me like one,
punishing me like I was......
Just 6 more.
Just 6 more.... what a way to end this powerful piece.... amazing just how brutally honest this poem is while still having a great flow..... you are amazing Em.

I can feel the pain hidden within these words and I can relate. Very good piece to make those aware of what here seems to be abuse that most seem not to want to see or acknowledge.
Dear sister Em... This saddens me alot but you are the strongest woman I have ever met.

This is shockingly powerful. This is describing control of the most evil kind. It is perverse and warped and I can only hope it's fiction.
I am torn between wanting to throw my arms around you, or congratulating you on a poem that truly grabs the reader, like watching a psychological horror novel.
Either because of your bravery or your creativity this has affected me like no other poem you've written. This will stay with me for some time.
Take care, Em. X
Unfortunately not fictional.
