The Course of History

by Sean Ash   Feb 4, 2017

How can one change history without changing the truth of what has been written? I wish I knew how to bring the best parts of me back from the dead. To revive a great and noble character. A highly respected and most trustworthy individual. It would be like bringing Lazarus back from the dead. I guess sometimes it helps to accept that what's written is written and what's dead is dead. If that is fair, then by all means continue with the story. But I don't have to like it, and I don't have to love myself anymore for it either.

This hit home to me a lot. Sometimes loving yourself is hard but where in the book of life does it say you have to?
