forgotten valentine

by Em   Feb 14, 2017

"Where's my roses...
oh, still in the shop?
you've made me begin
now, I just won't stop...."

"Where's my eternity ring?
you thought it wouldn't fit?
well, are you a man, a mouse
or a complete, utter tit?"

"Where are the chocolates
that you said you'd buy?
Yes, I'm disappointed
I'm not going to lie."

"Have you booked that restaurant,
no, you've made other plans?
then, maybe I'll 'forget'
to lift those sex bans."

"The breakfast in bed..
I should cook that too?
but it's valentines day
I thought you knew."

Em, I totally see where you were at with this. A "romantic" holiday should be just that, unfortunately so many of our partners don't have a clue or just don't care. I feel you did a really good writing this-hugs!
