Aftershock

by Aegis   Feb 17, 2017

Have I unknowingly
swallowed an earthquake?

Or
is my mouth
a sinkhole leading
straight to my ribcage?

My lungs quiver behind my chest-

tectonic plates that constrict my
hair trigger heart and send
involuntary tremors
through my
bones.
