Aftermath

by Lovely   Feb 23, 2017

If all the clouds
In the fathomless sky
Decided to take part
And allow Heavens shine
To descend upon my face
I fear that,
The aftermath of life's previous storm
Would never cease to fade away.
For it only left the memories
And tempest scars
Of the previous storms
That it had so violently
Left uprooted
In its impetuous wake.

I love the way you began this. It's beautiful.
True that the hurt and pain of the past remains...as painful memories. But we should not let our past decide our future.
    Nice write. Keep penning. :)
