The World and I

by Sean Ash   Feb 24, 2017

I am to the world, what the world is to me. It can see me, and I can see it. We both complement and reciprocate each other. We are both victims of man, susceptibly, a consequence of causality. Both here in existence; mirroring one another, whilst impatiently awaiting justice. We are destined for one another, like bread and butter. As a married couple, we experience life hand in hand. Always together. Even in death, the last thing we see is each other. She embraces me. And when I am dead, a part of her dies also. A sadness displayed through the rain, followed by many a happy memory when the clouds clear up; permitting the sun to shine through. Many things stand between us, but we belong to each other. Always.
